Uncovering Tailors 2.0

Each piece of clothing has a unique story to tell; a story of its maker; an account of the craftsmen, a story of the workshop; the studio; and many more stories that get lost in the process of making clothing as a work of art. Our film is here to capture and encapsulate these stories as we dwell on the different socio-cultural ethos surrounding this space. From flashy and ostentatious studios of Khan Market and Mehrauli to independent women making a name for themselves in small societies, to the age-old Karkhanas of Delhi-6, to even ground-floor factories run by small families; our work is a portrait of these houses of fashion sustained by people coming from variegated backgrounds.
