Several features make Insaniyat unique in what it does, making it a premium journal for people who live in the sphere of social sciences and arts.

  • A unique aspect of Insaniyat 2.0 is that it publishes “special” articles that are longer than the normal articles, as they are crafted by the editor himself by researching in-depth details and concocting various subjects into the matter. Hence the “Specials” appeal to both the reader looking for analysis of contemporary issues and the researcher looking for new developments in their field. This makes it a veritable monograph-sized publication.
  • Insaniyat 2.0 is a journal with a team from variegated backgrounds, who have been at face with inequalities all their life. It makes us a publication with a “social conscience”, as our articles take a strong editorial standing by not derailing from conversations that require importance. It is an editor-backed self-funded publication, that does not run primarily run through advertisements/ corporations but by patrons of the magazine. Produced on a shoestring budget, Insaniyat does have advertisers who do not control the content at any cost.
  • The focus of Insaniyat 2.0 is historical and social affairs along with the promotion of art, but it is a multidisciplinary publication covering political science, gender, environment, psychology, anthropology, and culture. Thus, it makes the journal a platform for debate and discussion amongst its readers. Insaniyat also attracts writers/ artists from Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and many South-East Asian nations, which makes our content go well beyond Indian themes. Insaniyat keeps alive the spirit of intellectual inquiry by developing arguments under various subject matters.
